Pattern:
Cast on 70 st.
Rows 1-6: Knit
Rows 7-10: Knit 4, (K1, P1) to last 4 st. and knit 4
Rows 11-14: Knit 4, (P1, K1) to last 4 st. and knit 4
Rep. rows 7-14 for pattern, until a little over 3/4 of ball is used.
(if using lion brand yarn you can do 10 rep. of the pattern)
Top
Row 1: Knit 2 together across
Row 2: Knit across all st.
Row 3: Rep. row 1
Row 4: Rep. row 2
Row 5: Rep. row 1
Now knit all sts. for 25 rows.
Next row Knit 5 wrap yarn around needle 3 times, and knit to end.
Knit next row, dropping the 3 wrapped sts.
Knit 3 rows
Next row Knit 2 tog. Knit one, Knit 2 tog. across row.
Rep. previous row one time.
Then knit 3 tog., and bind off.
Finishing:
Sew button on weave in ends and you are done.
