Seamless Willie Warmer
Finally, the utmost in comforta seamless willie warmer. This knits up
very quickly and is a popular gag gift. If knitting one to wear,
it might be more comfortable to knit reverse stockinette. Have fun with the
patterntry stripes, or maybe fuzzy angora or chenille =).
Yarn: small amount of Wool-Ease or other similar weight yarn
Needles: size 7 US double pointed
Tube: Cast on 21 stitches and arrange on 3 needles. Knit around for30 rows.
Cut yarn and draw through the stitches, and pull snug to bind off.
Pouch: Cast on 39 stitches and arrange on 3 needles. Knit aroundfor
20 rows.
Cut yarn and draw through the stitches, and pull snug to bind off.
*The number of stitches and rows can be altered depending on the size you
think you might need.
Joining: Hold tube and pouch together at open ends (anatomically correctly)
and graft them together for 6 stitches.
Pickup stitches evenly around, treating the openings as one continuous circle.
Edging: Knit 3 rows in seed stitch (row 1: K1, P1, row 2: P1, K1).
Knit one row eyelet (YO, K2tog). Knit 2 rows seed stitch.
Bind off.
Make a drawstring (I-cord or twisted strand of yarn, etc.) and thread it through
the eyelet holes.
