"Garter Snakes with Eggs in the Branches" Lace Border

Beth's lace border

Special Notes:
PLEASE NOTE THE K3tog in ROW 12!!

M3 is as follows: Knit into the back of the next stitch, then into the front of that same stitch, then
through the vertical 'line' of yarn between them.

Inc1 is as follows: knit into the head of the stitch under the next stitch to be worked, and then into
the 'real' stitch - please substitute a better 'Inc' if possible, as this method does not allow for the
garter stitch pattern to be fully ' garter'

SSP is slip one, slip another, and purl them both together
If you can find a way to avoid the Sl2, K2tog, P2O, please tell me!)
