Starting at lower edge of the back cast on 33 sts. .

Row 1: *K1, p1 *continue across row.

Rows 2 and all other rows: knit the purl sts and purl the knit sts.
Knit in pattern for 6".

Sleeves: Cast on 23 sts at the beginning of next 2 rows (79 sts.) work even in seed stitch until sleeves
measure 3-1/4”.

Shape Neck: Work in pattern across 32 sts; place 15 sts on holder; join another ball of yarn and work
last 32 sts in pattern. Work even in pattern on both sides at once for 4 rows. Then at each neck edge cast
on 9 sts ( 41 sts each side). Work even in pattern until sleeve edges measure 6.5". Then at each arm edge
bind off 23 sts (18 sts each side). Work even in pattern until front matches back. Bind off in pattern.

Hood: With right side facing, pick up and k 13 sts on right front neck; work in pattern across 15 sts on
holder; pick up and k13 sts on other neck edge(41 sts). Work even in pattern for 6” bind off in
pattern.

Finishing: Sew side and sleeve seams. Sew bound off edges of hood together.

I-Cord: Make 2 i-cords 6” each and sew to each side of hood at neck edge.
Cast on 3 sts for i-cord.
