CO 136 sts Change to stst with the following
selvaged edge (to keep it from curling): All increases and decreases will be inside this border. Dec 1 at the beginning and end of every 8th round (12x; 110 sts). Purl 1 row to end on a knit row. Armholes: Sl1, k1, dec1, k23, BO4, k46, BO4, k23, dec1, k2 Begin the back: Purl 1 row, Dec at
beginning and end of k row (3x; 40sts) Work even for 20 rows, BO 5 sts
at the beginning of next 6 rows, Front: (work both sides at same time, continue selvaged edge) Purl 1 row, Dec at armholes in next
knit row (3x; 24 sts). Beginning at the armhole BO dec 1 at neck edge
every 4 rows (5x; Sleeves: (make 2, obviously ;) Sew seams. You can use a button,
broach or, as I did, a crocheted chain to tie the front, in line with
the first armhole BO. |
