I have started crocheting my own scrunchies. Everyone is different as I never write down the pattern. I buy the elastics and sc around the elastic until it is so tight I can't get anymore on. It is fun getting wild and great looking scrunchies. I hope you can crochet as I have never knit a scrunchie.... It would be worth your while to learn to crochet them as they are so fast and easy....if you can't. I have even done them in fun fur. The wear well in a pool with clorine too.
