Beaded Knit Puffy Heart Pin

Materials: Size 8 perle cotton, size 11/0 beads, pair of 0000 knitting needles (1.25mm), small amount of fiberfill stuffing.	Gauge: Not specified.
Size(s): One size.
Abbrevations: k = knit, slb = slip 1 bead, inc = increase by knitting the front and back loop of the stitch, k2tog = knit 2 sts together, ssk = slip, slip, knit (slip each stitch knitwise, knit the two stitches together)

Pattern:

String the beads onto the thread before starting.
Using 2 needles held together, cast on 10 sts. Leave a tail of approx. 10 inches for sewing up.

Remove the 2nd needle and work as follows:

Row 5: k1, inc, k2, inc, k3, inc, k1 (13 sts)
Row 6: k6, slb, k1, slb, k6

Bind off the 9 sts.

Start a new thread and work the 17 sts for the other side of the heart:
