COLOR DIAMOND PATTERN:

This one is a little different from the one posted with Mary Vogt's toboggan
hat. I was making the edging on my Mom's afghan -- a FO!! -- and the three
colors looks so groovy (like, wow, man!) and I had enough for a vest, so I
needed a pattern. This has probably been published somewhere at sometime,
but ... These diamonds touch at the vertical points, but not the horizontal
ones.

Anyway, use three or more colors -- stash reduction, here. Note any new
colors are started on the rows with ** . It looks waaaay more complicated
than it is: it will be obvious -- yes, really -- and when you start another
color of the three, pick up the one you're not using, or something. Try a
swatch.

This is a multiple of 6 sts.
