HEART OF MY HEART
This is a square with a heart inside and a small heart inside the
larger one.  It's designed  in stocking and reverse stocking stitch,
but could be worked in other stitches, or in different colors.
Dimensions: larger heart is 40 stitches wide by 38 rows.  The square is
50 stitches and 46 rows.

Cast on 50 stitches.  Work 4 rows in reverse stocking stitch.

Pattern:

Row 1: (right side) P24 K2 P24
Row 2 and all wrong side rows through row 22: Knit the knit sts, purl
the purl sts.
Row 3: P22 K6 P22
Row 5; P20 K 10 P20
Row 7; P18 K14 P20
Row 9: P16 K18 P16
Row 11: P14 K22 P14
Row 13: P12 K26 P12
Row 15: P10 K30 P10

Work 4 rows in reverse stocking stitch.  Cast off.Uses: Our ever popular wash cloth.  A
pocket on a sweater.  Set into
the front of a sweater.  Make 2, sew them together on 3 sides, make a
cord = a bag.  If the square is used on its own there should be a
border to keep the stocking stitch  from rolling. Create your own uses!
