Cut yarn leaving a 15" end. Draw yarn through those remaining 7 sts and sew
side seam. Make a crochet chain (about 30" or long enough to slip over your
head). I prefer the chain to be long enough so that the Handy Hooker lies
even with where I hold my hands to knit. Fasten the chain to the top. Stuff
the HH LIGHTLY with YARN. Close the bottom and run any ends inside.
WARNING: Do not stuff this with roving, fiber fill, or any other dense
material. I tried it any much to my surprise it was impenetrable.

For those of you who are wondering what you just made, this is a home for
your cable needle. If you make your chain the right length your cable needle
will always be right there for you to grab when you need it. Before I had
one of these little gems I would clutch my needle between my teeth, stick it
in my hair, or lose it in the couch cushions. If you make an extra it isalso a good
place to store cable needles and small crochet hooks.
