NET SCARF

(to be worn with a blouse either tied at the front with the 
ends hanging straight or in a bow)

With 4.5 mm needles, cast on 40 sts.
ROW 1: YO, knit 2 tog and repeat across row.
ROW 2: Purl across.
Repeat these two rows once. Repeat row 1 once more.
NEXT ROW: Purl 2 tog all across row. (20 sts)

Repeat rows 1 and 2 on these 20 sts for desired length and end with a 
purl row. 
NEXT ROW: YO, knit 1 and repeat across row. (40 sts)
Purl 1 row. Repeat rows 1 and 2 twice more. 
Cast off.
