SCALLOPED COLLAR

Uses one pair of 4.5 mm needles and one pair of 6 mm needles.

With 4.5 mm needles, cast on 66 sts.
Work knit 1, purl 1 rib for 3 rows.
NEXT ROW: YO, knit 1 and repeat across row. (132 sts)

Change to 6 mm needles.
ROW 1 (rt side): Knit 1, *slip 1, knit 1, pass slipped st. over (PSSO), 
knit 9, knit 2 tog repeat from * to last st, knit 1.
ROWS 2 & 4: Purl. 
ROW 3: Knit 1, *slip 1, knit 1, PSSO, knit 7, knit 2 tog repeat from * to 
last st, knit 1.
ROW 5: Knit 1, *slip 1, knit 1, PSSO, YO, (knit 1, YO) 5 times, knit 2 
tog repeat from * to last st, knit 1. 
ROW 6: Knit.
Repeat rows 1 - 6 three times and cast off.

Finish by threading a ribbon or cord (about 1 metre long) through eyelets 
or by attaching a fancy button at the throat.
