Arlene's Father's Crazy Chocolate Cake

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup white sugar
3 tbsp cocoa powder (please use real cocoa powder and do not replace it)
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
6 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp vinegar
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup cold milk
icing sugar

Method:
In ungreased 8-inch square baking pan, combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Blend well with a fork.

Make three depressions in dry ingredients, pour oil, vinegar, and vanilla into these depressions. Pour milk over all; mix with a fork just until well blended.

Bake in preheated 350F oven about 25 minutes or until tester inserted in centre comes out clean.

Cool, sprinkle icing sugar over the top, cut in pan, and serve.

Makes 9 servings.
