Devonshire Cream

To be poured over fresh seasonal fruit just before serving

Here is a short , easy, but very good recipe for dessert. Two versions - the original for those who are throwing calories to the wind. The second for anyone watching fat content.

Ingredients:
3/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup half and half
1/4 confectioner's sugar
2 Tablespoons vanilla
1 Tablespoon honey

Fresh fruit of choice

Method:
Combine sour cream, half and half, confectioners' sugar, vanilla and honey. Mix well.
Pour over fruit or have in bowls for dipping

Low fat version/ Devonshire No Cream

We find that this tastes quite nice, the fat is not missed.

Ingredients:
3/4 cup no fat sour cream
1/4 cup 1% milk
1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons vanilla
1 tablespoon honey

Choice of fresh fruit cut into pieces

Method:
Combine sour cream, half and half, confectioners sugar, vanilla and honey. Mix well.
Pour over fruit or serve in bowls for dipping.
