(Note from Renee: I cast on 56 stitches instead so it would be a number that decreased evenly. I knit for 6" straight, not 7". I had exactly enough yarn in one skein)
Materials:
1 ball Chinchilla yarn- 50 g, 77 yds.
#10 (US) circular needle and double points
Pattern:
Cast on 52 stitches. Knit in the round for 6 or 7 inches in garter
stitch. (Knit one row, purl the next)
Decreases: K6, k2tog, around
knit one row
K 5, k2tog, around,
knit one row, etc
then knit 2 tog, k 1
Sew last few stitches together through the stitches
I had a little yarn left that I made into a tassel and attached to the center on a 3" thread.
