Pattern:
Cast on very loosely 142 stitches. Knit 10 rows for border.
Start pattern, keeping three stitches on each side in garter stitch (knit
every row).
Row 1: (right side): K3 (border), *K2 together, K6, YO, K1, YO, K6, sl 1 knitways, K1, PSSO; repeat from *, ending K3 (border).
Row 2: K3, purl to last 3 stitches, K3.
Repeat these two rows for pattern until desired length. Knit 10 rows for border.
This pattern is a repeat of 17 stitches, plus the 6 border stitches, so it can be increased or decreased as desired. My afghan is coming out about 54" wide, and will be about 60" long. I'm getting just about 10" of length for every skein of Homespun.
