Pattern:
Keeping first and last ten stitches in garter stitch, purl one row
and knit one row for ten rows.
On the next ten rows, always keeping first and last ten stitches in garter stitch, knit one row and purl one row. Keep repeating these twenty rows until the dresser scarf is almost the length you wish. Then knit the last ten rows for top border and bind off.
The borders can also be done in seed stitch.
