This pattern is an elgant but easy to knit scarf.
Materials:
2.5 balls of Treliske yarn
1 pr 4.5mm needles
Abbreviations:
Cable 4st = slip 2sts to a cable needle and hold in front of the work
(or back, your choice), K2, K2 from cable needle
Pattern:
Cast on 32sts and work 8 rows in garter st for border then begin with
cable pattern.
Keep first 3st and last 3st of every row in garter st, and work center 26sts in cable
1st row: [p1, cable 4st] 5 times, p1
2nd row: k1, [p4, k1] 5 times
3rd row: [p1, k4] 5 times, p1
4th row: k1, [p4, k1] 5 times
5th row: [p1, k4] 5 times, p1
6th row: k1, [p4, k1] 5 times
Repeat these 6 rows until work measures 116cm (or desired length)
Knit all 32sts in garter st for 8 rows as border, bind off.
